My Story
I am a Veterinarian specializing in Clinical and Diagnostic Toxicology. In short, I treat animals that have been poisoned, and help you to prevent poisonings in your pets.
I graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, and later completed residency training in toxicology from the University of California at Davis. I then became certified as a clinical specialist by the American Board of Veterinary Toxicology.
Currently I am a faculty member in a Health Sciences University in southern California. Previously I worked as a companion animal veterinary clinician, and as a specialist in poisoning information at the Oregon Poison Center, and at the California Poison Control System.
I live in Los Angeles with 2 dogs (Jake & Duke), 3 cats (Figgy, Ollie & Willow), and a sun conure (Papaya).
